We went yesterday, 08/13/26 for take/out. I've seen this restaurant and finally we made it in. I read all the reviews, and decided we give it a try. One of the many reviews was from a person from Miami, who's review was not good. We have been in GA, for almost 5 yrs, and we are both Cubans. We definitely know Cuban foo

The beef and cheese empanadas at Havana Sandwich Shop set the gold standard. Perfectly balanced seasoning, ground beef meat, creamy cheese, and pastry that’s crispy without being greasy. I’ve had empanadas from many places, and these are genuinely the best. A must-try!

This place will be here when the aliens land. Very consistent- you already know which sandwich you want...., but which sides? Outside of Miami, you'll be hard pressed to find a better Medianoche. My only complaints are with the A/C and the interior which needs a bit of a refresh.
