This is the sort of place where you can have a great experience if you set your expectations first. Skip the pastries (not their specialty). Get coffee somewhere else before you come in. Don't expect too much in terms of ambiance or signage. Where do you order? Where do you checkout with groceries? Anywhere or nowhere.

Formerly Piastra - Asher & Rose is a recommended spot for a night on the Square.
The owner is very kind and greeted us at the door, the bar area to the right is very intimate and has a "Goodfellas" kind of ambiance.
The drinks are wonderful, made in front of you by personable bartenders who are excited to wow you.
